The common "Blaster II" coils are high-failure junk with lots of folks complaining about them.

They were bad when they were made in Mexico. Now that they're sourced from Communist China, they're even worse.

MSD has a "budget" line, "StreetFire". But instead of using their budget line to sell Chinese crap, they've polluted their premium line with bottom-feeder parts.

I have had one in service since the 90s. Maybe it was a USA made one.
I recently bought a NOS Mallory Pro Master coil. A very good ole Made in the USA coil for sure.
