I thought the problem was with canceling cam not making contact with the plunger in the turn signal switch. It barely makes contact. the problem was with the green wire coming from the horn relay to the semi circle plug under the dash. The terminal was a bit corroded and the connection wasnt that good. I cleaned it up and its working great now. Just a pain to trace it back to this point but feel great now that my entire electrical system is working perfectly after having the whole car apart. No lost grounding issues! they can be a real PITA!

If anyone needs it, here's a good diagram for the assembly. I thought I'd lost it during my XP reinstall but just found it this morning..... after looking all week. Included is the Assembly sheet for a Grant steering wheel and the horn.

Is there a spring somewhere in your assembly? I also am having a similar problem and trying to figure out what parts are missing. My horn does not work and both turn signals do not shutoff. My 67 GTO came with a standard steering wheel and someone put on a deluxe the horn wires from the spokes are cut off. Also I am wondering if I added the spring to my assembly it would shut off the blinkers.
