I want to clarify my post( number 11 ) I didn’t mean that the Carter was correct for ram air cars. There is a Carter with the same number in the round . It is NOT correct for ram air cars. And it is a more porous casting. There are also Rochester made with this number that are not original Ram air baseplates.

7037174

However if you have that number baseplate and it’s not original, that means you probably still have a RAIV car so just happy and enjoy it. :-) that’s what they were built for not to be a Picasso.

It’s nice to have all the right stuff but it’s better to enjoy your car.

Looks like he is preparing to start a restoration on a Ram4 car.
Patina'd 2piece intake under the 9273 carb.

I see it still it has the original throttle solonoid on the carb. Did they only come on the ram air 4 cars?
I heard rumors all ram air 3 or 4 had them but I dont think they did? Unless a/c cars

Ram air man
Nice car you have BTW.
I own the same color combo convertable, same options except they missed checking that ram air 4 option lol What where they thinking?
