Default IA Aluminum 535 For Sale

I don't really need 650 HP+/- in my '67 Firebird to get groceries or drive uptown on the weekend so I'm letting my aluminum 535 go to someone who can put it to better use.

ALL parts were new when the engine was built and it might have around 2500 miles on it now. Runs great on 92 octane.
I took it to the track in Gainesville once for test & tune and it ran 11.804 @ 121.79 with a 2.014 60'. It spun the 275/60R15 Nitto's halfway through second gear so there's more to be had...

The basic specs (off the top of my head) are below, but if you're serious about buying it, I can provide more detailed information.

Speedmaster heads with all new parts (Manley valves / springs are good to .700 lift) and have been CNC ported to 340cfm.

Aluminum IA block with a forged rotating assembly.
Dish pistons for a SCR of 10.7:1 cold.
Standard bore HR cam (.622" lift & 112 lsa (iirc) with Scorpion 1.65 rockers).
Aluminum mechanical water pump with clearanced divider plate.
Canton road race oil pan for a '67 Firebird.
$19,500 obo heads to oil pan.

Located in Silver Springs, FL 34488 (Central FL)

I sold the Edelbrock Pro-flo 4, Super Victor EFI intake, & distributor I was running on it, but I do have other parts available if you're interested.

Complete multi-port injection system
  • Holley Terminator X w/dual sync distributor & GM trans controller NEW
  • Super Victor EFI intake (Dominator flange) NEW
  • Injector rails for Super Victor NEW
  • Edelbrock 80lb/hr injectors Used
  • Intake elbow (Dominator flange) NEW
  • 102mm LS style throttle valve NEW

Victor intake (Square bore) NEW
Warrior intake (Square bore) NEW
MSD Ready to Run distributor Used
MSD Pro Billet distributor (Locked for timing control) Used

I have a brand new 4500 version...On the fence about using it or buying a billet.

That engine deserved a proper set of slicks for that pass! Love it.

The car just isn't transferring like it should. With coil-overs up front, split mono leaf springs, and Caltracs, it should stick & git! Mid to low 10's should be easy.

I'm starting to think that the Continental "Jim Hand Special" converter doesn't have enough stall. It was built to stall around 3600 rpm, but it was built tight for the street and, if my calculations are correct, it has 8% slip running through the traps.

Nice, GLWS, if this was a couple years ago I would've bought this during my engine debacle.

Easy high 10 engine here, pump gas beast.
