My own transportation blob will always be the "over 10 years old, 150,000 miles" category, because I couldn't pay the prices they want these days and be able to sleep at night. An EV could make sense for my 3x a week commute to the office 20 min away. The rest of the time, its a 200+ mile highway trip, or towing something heavy with my dually. Not exactly EV territory.
Trying to force the market to exist by government directive is more proof that communism has and always will suck as an economic model. My life is a study in irony when it comes to vehicles anymore. Pontiac funny car team? I was the only one driving a Pontiac at the time, and I'm even more partial to the Olds community. Now its a v6 accord, which I hate to admit is one damn fine high speed highway car. From 80-105, it is just a dream and eats up interstate very impressively. Even more so since I de-activated its cylinder de-activation. Which I guess means that its now "cylinder activation".
