Got my 800 Qjet and now thinking about getting a 72 intake. Just not sure yet if I want to search for one that’s already ported or I port myself. Just kind of seeing what’s out there right now.

The stock intake is cheap and everywhere. I've got multiples. Where do you live?

Be cautious with a new aluminum repop. Before you spend the money for port matching, test the threaded holes for proper fit and perform a pressure test with dye penetrant if you can. I went through two RA-IV reproductions to get a good one. The first was a porous casting that had pinhole leaks in the front runners and crossover, the second suffered from temperature sender holes that were tapped too large in diameter.

No, they’re all sh*t.

Most all require port matching and welding to get the core shift fixed.
