My parents bought an '81 new. It was this same color except with black velour interior and no t-tops. Sitting next to it at the dealership was another '81 same color except with silver vinyl interior and t-tops.

This 1981 Pontiac Firebird Turbo Trans Am was assembled in Van Nuys, California, sold new from Leo Payne Pontiac of Lakewood, Colorado, and now shows 5k miles following the seller’s purchase in 2021. Subsequent work consisted of rebuilding the carburetor and turbocharger and replacing the hoses, spark plugs, and ignition wires.
