I have a couple of Bambu machines and an old Ender 3 ... all of them together wouldn't pay for a replacement nozzle for one of your machines
As a hobby printer they have so far fulfilled my needs, bracketry, stand-offs, clamps, organizers etc.
I figure metal FDM will be hobbyist affordable in the next ten years, although that maybe slowed by the recent plethora of 5 axis desktop CNC that are coming to market. I've done manual machining my whole life and I find CNC a real pain in more than 3 axis , love the freedom of additive manufacturing.
