I'm guessing the set up he has also acts as a crank support. If so, a Pontiac snout is fine.

All of my previously Steve Morris dyno time was based on F-3 139 unit. Never really saw a 135 unit run. I also have heard that the new 136 had a lot of potential. Think that Procharger HAD to step up after Chris Alston jr ran quicker with a crank drive Vortech Supercharger in the Nova vs the F3-139 unit they previously used.

Hope to see the car/engine at Norwalk in August.

Tom that's the goal is to have the car at Norwalk.

Russ I believe it is the standard pontiac snout. I know mine is. I replaced mine after 300 passes on it because upon inspection by Moldex (crank was in there to be cut and inspected) they discovered that there were a few stress fractures around both keys (it is dual keyed for the supercharger). They cut the snout off and replaced it with another one. When I spoke to Joe he said he thought it was from peddling the car and the stress it puts in that area. My understanding is that the pontiac snout actually isn't a bad snout to have (go figure for once its not a bad thing to have a pontiac. LOL) because the snout size is slightly smaller than a BBC but bigger than a SBC.

Scott if I had to take a SWAG, I'd say it does too.
