Is this the old HO Racing thing with the manifold hanging over the port by the pushrod bulge and moving the other side by the same amount in an attempt to shoot past it ?

Taking way longer than I expected. But short block is going together. Heads are just need assembled and they'll be ready. There is a light at the end of the tunnel finally.
Once this one gets done then we'll start on the big Tiger2 headed engine for Drag Week competition

Do you already have the Tiger heads?

When I talked to Frank a couple months ago at the last Pontiac race we attended, he was telling me he's having a hard time finding someone that will cast the heads the way he wants. Or worded something to that affect. In other words they are either in short supply or not available right now, like pretty much everything else these days.

Yes I have the heads. Kind of crazy just how bad things have gotten. Everything seems to take forever to get.

Default I'll guess

Looks like a great combination, should be very responsive and will make excellent power. I guess 815 HP @ 6800 and 705 TQ @ 5000-5200 tested with 91 octane on a day that has decent air.

Been a while but getting pretty close now. Waiting on pushrods and then top-end will go on. Compression is right at 11.1:1 so should cruise nicely on 92 octane. Then dyno time.
