Wow, had a time putting those pictures up, some stuff from what I was used to.
I work on school buses. The last several years of new buses we've gotten (all Freightliners), have these style clamps on everything. I found out that Napa carries them. I use them on everything. They make them small enough to fit on heater hoses. I recently replaced all the hoses on my 2005 C10 Silverado. 5.3. I replaced all the clamps with these. They are NOT cheap! But the best clamps I've seen I wouldn't be surprised if OReillys carries them, or at least could order them. I have a locally owned Napa in my town I buy most of my stuff from them. They carry great parts like these clamps!

Pro-tip; use 90's Towncar's radiator hose clamp (a 2-tab spread hard steel) on the GTO upper Hose for grest results. no adj needed.

But like the Oetikers, except worse, is that they have a very limited size range. |

Another option.
Anyone ever use the Heat Shrink clamps? I am curious how they hold up. Possibly difficult to shrink in tight places. Dave

Schurkey,
Thanks for pointing that out. I missed that post. HWYSTR455, When heating the Powergrip does it require even heat around the entire circumference? Dave

On this one, I had it hanging over a little at the end, trying to account for shrinkage, but it heated quicker than the rest of it, went over the end, and prevented it from contracting back. It works this way, but was hoping it would have looked better. After doing the first one I had it figured out. When I swap over to my new radiator I will make look nicer. One spot that these are nice for is the lower hose to timing cover, and the heater hose to timing cover. .
