I'll tell you all about the motor the next time I see you. I ordered pistons and if they get here on time, I'll have my '63 at Pontiac Heaven. I refused to pay an extra $250 for "seven-day expedited service". Some manufacturers haven't figured out yet that the economy's in the dumpster. They're still expecting their customers to outbid each other to see who gets decent service. Ellen and I will be there regardless, but I hope we'll be running our car and not just watching, like the last few years.

Jim

Here is my '62. Although it looks o.k. here, I just went the custom route. I lowered her a few inches and just finished painting her. She is now Satin Blue (suede) with a White Pearl top. I'll post some pix when I finsh putting her back together.

185/65/15 they ride great. I had bigger tires on it but they didnt look right and the skirts would never have fit. I love the look the skirts give it. Now for some lake pipes!

Well, project is almost done. I took my stock '62 LeMans, threw on some wide whites, lake pipes, lowered it a few inches, and painted it Satin Blue with a White Pearl Top and added some pin stripes on the hood and trunk. I was kinda going for an "Old School" look.
** Sorry, this ain't the picture. Trouble with the upload. ***

I thought I posted pics before but cant find them. Here they are again.

This is my daily driver 61 2 door Cp. in Tucson at AZkeeblers dad's house.

This is my 61 Wagon, also in Tucson. You can see AZkeeblers 62 wagon in the background.

My 61 Cp in the shop at work.

My odometer turning 500K last August. Note the speedo needle!

This is a 62 LeMans in my back yard, waiting!!! It is a 442 car, 3.73 gears, red interior,
Factory A/C.

Another 62 LeMans in my back yard. Used for storage & a parts car.

Another 62 Tempest. Being stored in Maricopa at Steve Barcaks Pontiac Heaven yard.
I am second owner, have all original paperwork. car is TOTALLY rust free!!!

My 61 Wagon, also stored at Steve's. Waiting!!!

Front pic of my daily driver, can see the headers hanging down.

Back pic of my daily driver. 2.5" exhaust pipe on right side & a tow ring I bolted on the left side. Used to tow the dragster to the lanes & back to the pits!

Nothing prettier than a blue pontiac mill in a white engine bay.
