Make sure you are in the correct hole.

The 4 speed pedal and auto pedal will have two holes. One for manual brakes and one for power brakes. If it is too low, you might need to go to the upper hole in the pedal.

i'm up and running,

I reused the old t400 drive shaft. it was 1" too short but still had about 2" of spline in there so it was good enough for a gentle test run.
going back out to clean up.
still will need a 56" drive shaft if anyone has one.

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR STICKING WITH ME ON THIS, YOUR SUGGESTIONS WERE VERY HELPFUL.
