Thanks. We can now run Holleys in our class, but I don't have the funds to switch over this year. Will run the AFB's and see what it does at the track.

Holley's were worth 43 HP over my AFB'S/Comp. 750's on a Gutsram 2x4.

Sorry,I didn't know that you guys knew all the specs to this engine enough to come in here and say it didn't make enough power . Was also nice for you to say you mean no disrespect to Hooter then in your very next sentences do it anyway!

I didn't see Hooter in any of your posts disrespecting you or your builds.I guess he could have went into Leeches post where his engine blew all to hell and said he felt it should have stayed together longer than 5 minutes based on the specs and the parts he had, must have been built by an idiot? Yeah he could have said he felt Quinns car should have ran a lot better with Marcellas. intake that cost an arm and a leg and ran the same as a cast intake that Marcella said was junk ? Yeah he could have, hmm but didn't.

I guess he has class, something some people will never have.

you need to actually build a real live engine. you are the definition of a phucktard. Look it up. I've repeatedly over and over stated that my combo was old and nothing special. reworked steel 11/32 valves that we rescued from the dumpster in 2000, cut in a lathe and ran for 5 seasons way north of 8. It Dropped a valve. Wake up moron. It happens. You think im the first guy to drop a valve? The only way to completely avoid parts failure is do do like you do and not try at all. So maybe i am an idiot for not replacing them sooner. Maybe for not double checking radial clearance with clay AFTER checking for P to V with the cam installed through the sweep.

YOU SIR ARE AN IDIOT FUTARD FOR TO MANY REASONS ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO LIST. NOT ONE OF THE REASONS FOR ANYTHING YOU"VE ACTUALLY "DONE" BUT RATHER WHAT YOU SAY AND DON"T "DO".

535 , 13 to 1 , 2 carbs on a sheet metal , wide port e-heads said to be real good.
Seems to me should be a bit better at a quick glance. Thats all, sorry if im not the guy who says ....hey good job..........and then turns to his buddy and says .....wow what a turd that should have made more. If that makes me an ass hole in your eyes, well then im an ass hole, im ok with that.

As far as the rest of your post and past posts, i think create your own false reality and are probably pathological because the truth is to hard for you.

Sincerely,
Ass Hole

Seems to me you guys should be working on your own problems and not worry about anyone else's.

In was also nice for you guys to attack Bill and his work on the very day his mom died of cancer, you had to know since you know all the details about every engine and cylinder heads he touches. You guys are all POS in my opinion.

For the record i think you are the main source of the bloviating.

My sincerest sympathies to Bill and his family. I lost my Grandfather to a battle with cancer 6 years ago. Hopefully the family can find peace now that she has.

Correct me if i'm wrong Brad.

Hoot's build is with ancient Wenzler heads with more miles then a French whore.
Top if off with a block from same brothel and an ancient bathtube with 2-750 afb's.
Plan wasnt to pound his chest. There's some serious money guys in his group. They trash between rounds.
Then there's others like Brad. Just have'n fun race'n and hang'n with bud's. Their a pretty tight group.
Hit most of the Midwest Nostalgia SS events, run all day long, not get dirty, relax at nite, repeat next day.
Get home, leave car in trailer, wait for next event.
How much better can it get?!

That pretty much nailed it, except mine are old wideports and it's a Hogan designed to look like a bathtub. I'm guessing I've picked up quite a bit over the old motor. The car's gonna run pretty good and get me down the track more than fast enough to hang with our group. Mission accomplished. If I want to get serious down the road, I'll throw some Holleys on it and more compression.

The original design intent of this was to make a conservative 875. Getting into the motor, there were many issues(Larry ran it hard for years) and just about everything got touched to some degree. Yeah, the sum of the parts are more oriented toward a higher end goal but I was able to pick up a lot of these parts reasonable from fellow racers and it could be considered over engineered for the build. As Mike mentioned above, I'm more into having fun than making a huge number. It's in the car and I'm working to get a few other things wrapped up on it. We'll see how it goes down the track.

good for you. If your happy thats all that matters. I was not slamming your motor, just other a-holes that make it look that way.

I don't keep up much with these head wars, so I have to ask, did Langers a$$ ever get busted? Seems I recall 3,4,5, years ago some cv engine was gonna' have him covered by a few tenths!
