Is the stainless trim at the rear of the top opening ( the area just in front of the trunk ) the same for all B bodies for 67?

Etching primer will not stop rust. If you have rust spots you had better treat them in some way before you paint over them. Just my two cents

I had my Cat Conv. sanded to bare metal, several small and medium dents repaired and a two step red original color put on for under 3K. I did remove some of the chrome and stainless myself...
