Needed keys made for my GTO. Went to True value.. $2.99 each but they didn't work. Turns out the blanks are a bit too long keys don't insert far enuf. In the meantime I went to Ace...$6.99 each.....

Regarding the "R" terminal, AFAIK, firebirds used that terminal for resistance bypass during cranking, A bodies did not use that terminal, at least on a '67.

There you go. The second wire with the large ring terminal goes to the large starter bolt along with the large battery cable. As mentioned above. It's the main power feed to the entire harness.
