1970 blue (bright blue) is different than 71 blue (dark blue). Search the forum and you should find the codes you need. I know there have been threads on this topic with the paint codes listed.

If you take the top cover off, look for any contact points on those moving parts as well as the gear teeth at the end of the tuner shaft. You can use a little household oil to lubricate those areas.

I don't think the arm difference affects the flow or volume. My bird was running the same as with the old pump for the 100 miles that the new pump lasted.

I thought they used to sell as a set, but apparently not anymore. You don't need anything special. When I did my 71 TA motor, I just used Johnson lifters which were a nice quality stock replacement....
