Are you using the same intake and carb as before the rebuild? If not, put the old carb back on and try it out. If it's the same - with a different cam you will most likely need to recalibrate that...

I have them on my 400. Put a Summit 2801 cam/lifters in there and you will not be disappointed. I'm very surprised how well it performs.
