My machine shop has a pontiac performance freind...

My machine shop has a pontiac performance freind that tells him, if he puts the pistons in backwards(to where the notch points to the back of the engine) tye 60 400 engine will make more power....

I have a 10 bolt posi rear end coming for my 69 bird. Looks pretty weathered, what is the best way to clean it short of totally disasembling it and sand blasting? Thanks!
