Autolite 85 is the same heat range as AC 44. I've had good luck with the Autolites in a 400 with #13 heads.

I ran 245/60-15s all around on a '70 with no problems, but the wheels were 15x7. Those tires were the same height as the originals, so the speedo even read correctly.

I've used an MSD 6A with the external rev limiter on my Pontiac since I modified the engine, so I really can't make any comparisons to stock. But I know the rev limiter has kept me under 6000 lots...
