Awesome! thanks. This answered a question from back in post # 8 about using that behind the crank pulley as a spacer instead of the ac pulley. The AC pulley is about .075 and that ring you measured being .108 is a .043 difference. If that is used as a spacer its gonna put the crank pulley .043" further forward. This might work in some cases and not in others.
I have been back to the junkyard and collected some pulleys and I am finding that no two measure exactly the same but so far are within about 3/32" in depth. The factory pulleys are just stamped out and the consistency is a little off from one to the next but if its good enough for factory, its good enough for me.
Mine are within about .020" alignment and there have been no issues so far. I know in an earlier post I had mentioned a low whine. I probably never should have mentioned it as it seemed to alarm some people. Its not really a whine, its difficult to explain the sound and its practically inaudible. Its more or less just a different sound than I was used to hearing from the stock v belts. If I have time Ill take another video as I put a clutch fan back in there and no longer have the noise of the flex fan drowning out all the other noises.
Oh by the way I got a few triangle spacers cut out. They are not in my hands yet but as soon as I can pickem up Ill post a pic.
