Better buy a few extra belts, I ended up purchasing a few spare belts from my local Motion industries. If you mount the drive off a aluminum motor plate you'll see flex in the plate when you try to tighten the belt. Without the trans attached I could move the motor back and forth just by squeezing the belt between the pulleys. This caused me a belt tracking issue when the trans was bolted up. Just a FYI
No mandrel yet got the BBC beltdrive kit "PN\252035BB though. I'll pick up some spare belts once it's installed and running. I have an AllPontiac steel front plate on the engine right now. How's you tin work coming along?
