And it can be done.. footbraking in an 11 second street car with flip flops and Bermuda shorts on if you know what your doing. The best they can go with those boxes is double 0 and dead on, and I can do that with my feet. Not as consistently as I did in my super pro days, I’ll grant you that, but if you get hot, it just takes a few pieces to fall in place. One lucky round here or there. Box guys get soft against us foot brakers.. they get afraid to go red so they click a few thou in they normally wouldn’t and leave the door open.
Ive been around the block a few times in my 47 years of racing! I started off Foot Braking (I can still so it, I've done it a few times in the car I have now), done that for 20 years or so. Then I was forced (Ok I guess I didn't have to) to go to electronics (per NHRA) they changed the rules. I know all about how good a racer can be Foot Braking........its like anything else the more you do it the BETTER you get (or should)! Ill take my chances with a Foot Braker ALL day long.....its not that they can't ,its..............the odds are with me!
Oh by the way..........GOOD Job!
