Ok I called Cold Case and asked them how this conversion was gonna be compared to using their kit. Of course they couldn’t speak to using an original piece 100% but they did say that with their kit you drilled out the spot welds on the original, took your measurements and either bolted or welded the new piece on. I can weld. Very well actually but I think I’m going to bolt it in just in case a mistake is made. As far as appearance this is a driver. As long as it just isn’t horrible and functions properly I will be very pleased. I appreciate everyone who took the time to answer and I hope if anyone has anymore guidance please step forward.
