I have been to Steve Morris Dyno for the "Turbo Forum's Blow-Thru Carb Shoot-Out", (all three carbed engines made over 2000 hp), Brian's testing with his F-2 Procharger Pontiac engine, Luhn Performance with the 863 HP "stocker" 455 engine. I have seen many pulls over 2000 hp there on the 572 BB Chebby Engine's with the F3-139 Belt driven supercharger stuff installed.
So I believe the number being over 2000 HP. My guess would be the 2300 number is about 125 HP High. Still a 2175 HP number would be a serious number for a 511 cid engine. I was not surprised that Steve would predict that the Pontiac engine would only make 1800 HP as he is always conservative on that stuff. Great Job by Brian H and the crew from the east coast.
