X2! I've never been as fast as Darby....even back when he was running the Grandville. It's hard to hit a moving target!

Great job getting that pump gas street car in the VERY low 10's! I'm going to go ahead and say it will be in the 9's this year. If not this spring, then in the fall when the air gets better again. The wind was probably costing you a tenth.

Congrats Darby! It's always a good feeling when you change something and it goes faster.

Thanks Guys, Last year the last race was very similar in weather about 700 ft? Sat was close maybe a tad better, but a nasty wind and it ran faster! So I agree rick, its nice to change things and see gains, Last year we raced sat n sun, sat had headwinds, my car was about .06-.08 faster the next day, and i think the wind was less then this sat. I looked and the wind was 5 mph, gusting to 14 last oct, sat it was 11 gusting to 33!

I'd be curious to see what a little more stall would do for you, 5200-5300.

Thanks Guys, I looked at last years weather when i ran that 10.20 once and saturdays, and it was about 250 ft worse this sat then last year. I ran multiple teens sat too.
68greenbird, Jim The new owner has stuck alot of money into the track already, cutting down trees, new surface etc. Its really nice and so flat and smooth now! Once they get the concrete polished and prepped for a reg bracket race ,it will be like the new house of hook!

Thanks Guys!, Things could get interesting this weekend, about the same weather as last but no headwinds! And maybe a tail instead!
