I always carry 5 gallons in my trunk when checking if my gas gauge is reading right +-
Takes the anxiety out of it - ever see the Seinfeld episode where the are betting how far they can drive before they run out.

I took my new to me 66 GTO convertible down to True E, then got gas and it took OVER 19 gallons so someone must have but a 21 gallon tank in at some point +-
