🤣, first he said cheap china, and not supporting American jobs, then proven wrong,…. now the intakes are too expensive being made here by American workers 🤪.

That 2-4 intake would sure look pretty in my car.

One can only hope that is one of the things that Jeff said is right around the corner.
But the anti KRE crowd will knock that too. Can you imagine "all the dollars" it would take to finish a OHC PONTIAC now !!! Forgetting all the thought and effort it takes to bring these types of things to the public. |

This intake has been out a few years now. Besides KRE and Tin Indian Performance results, does anyone here have real world results?

I have one, just haven't had time to mess with it yet. Just looking at it my opinion is it will make decent power but due to the short runners the power below peak will be soft.

I have 2 of the Tripower ones that I run with the Rochester carbs.
They're super nice intakes, and work really well. Be advised that they do have some machine work that needs to be done before you can install them. Both of mine req'd a .065" correction cut. And you will need to do some grinding on the back of the intake and the distributor cap (stock points distributor) to open that interference up. Also, the intake to cylinder head bolt holes need to be spot faced to get the bolts to sit flat on the intake. The 2nd one I bought I had Jeff open up to 340CFM to match the E-Heads I have on the 469, and the 1st one was ported to 310CFM to match the E-Heads on a 464. Here's some info from back when I bought/installed the first one: https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...d.php?t=867123
