My 69 had a replacement motor with only 1 shock mounted. The other mounts did not line up, so I had to adapt them. I used rubber grommets & strong nylon ty-wraps untill I found good rubber mounts.

My 69 350 vert isn't as clean and I have more $ invested restoring mine without any regrets. Value will change year to year, if you can afford it - go for it. It's a rare car in my books.

You may want to look at the Axle ratio too, if you have a 10 bolt & 2 BBL car, good chance it has low gears (high 2's). This would be a reason to maybe move up to a ratio in the mid 3's, I believe...
