If youre using a spray can... krylon satin is an excellent sheen & good quality paint, have used it on many parts under the hood etc, goes on smooth, dries fast & holds up to engine heat or debris...

Next time your under the car you can look up at the rear of the pan and see if there's the OEM rubber prongs sticking out of the holes in the pan with no RTV... or remnants of cork gasket & RTV...

I hate to sound like a broken record but what did they use for the rear oil pan U seal?? Same...

Stick with original mounts for the street IMO, if there is more power than stock, make your own "mighty-mount" out of stock mounts... Thats all they do, they grind the "made in taiwan" off stock...

My 72 had that EEC emission thing, I removed it and used a new non vented tank since I didnt want to run the lines and keep that, my other cars with the charcoal canister set up I eliminated too....
