So bigger cam and/or Qjet carb of the same size? If the wife lets me spend some money, ideally I get a bigger cam and new carb? or can i get away with just a more adjustable carb?

428 stock rods and crank. .30 over.
#62 heads
1.65 rollers
comp cams xe268h
edelbrock 750 and performer manifold
1 5/8" headers.

i have a new bracket and mirror and i cant seem to get the mirror to stay put. I have the little square deal that the screw goes through, but it still flops down. Any tips or tricks?

Thanks a bunch. Its a 67 GTO w/console and I beleive the shifter is OEM. I'll take a look tonight and see whats out of whack.

cutting the front springs

I have a 67 GTO thats sitting way too high.. I want to try cutting the front springs by a few coils. Can this be done without taking the springs off the car?

Can the fuel pump return nipple be capped? I dont have a return line and i have a vented gas tank. I dont want to have to run the lines if i dont have to. What are the advantages and disadvantages?

on my 428 block i test fit my pistons and at tdc i have about .025 clearance between top of piston and top of block... However my cylinders have a slight chamfer at the top of each and the piston...
