2 bolt to 4 bolt 455 main caps...billet?
Is there any realistic advantage to using the billet 4 bolt main caps for a 455? I'm assuming I can get away with just a standard cast set of caps.
Anyone want to sell a set?
P.S.
Why does...

455 Question - 4 bolt threads?
I was looking at the mains in my 455 and noticed there were a second set of threads outside the main cap dowel. What's the deal with this? Does this mean I can put 4 bolt caps in? Or do they...

Max Wheel for Stock Height Suspension
Does anyone know the biggest front and rear tire/wheel set up can be run on a '69 bird. I'm planning on keeping the stock ride height on the suspension rebuild. Maybe sometime in the future I'll...

What about a Gear Vendors OD unit? I think it will handle up to 1200+ hp.

If you are cost conscious well then this may not be the unit. I believe they...

350 Rebuild, Where would you put $1000
OK, since the 455 is a little harder to find than I had hoped, well at least a rebuildable core for less that $1000 (here in Vegas) I need to get rolling on getting the car back together. It's been...

hp variances
I don't know if anyone has actually researched this or not, but if you were to build a 350, 389, 400, and 455 the exact same way, how much difference in hp would you see between the 350 and the 400...

All things being equal, is there any reason to build a '59 389 over a 400 or 455? It will ultimately go into a '69 bird. Trying to find a good motor to build, but reasonable 400's and 455's are...
