I think I would do an oil analysis and cut the oil filter open to check for debris.

Not sure on these LS cars if they go...

You should check with Modern Driveline here in Idaho.

They helped me with some parts I needed for my T56, toured their shop,….really a top notch company from what I have experienced.

Same here unfortunately. Running 4.25 Eagle cast crank, ARP main studs, solid roller. 460hp to the wheels. Probably no issues because it lives an easy life being mainly street driven.

Instead of feeler gauges, do you have a dial indicator that you can setup to confirm the measurements?

I think mine ended up around .003 to .005 in the hole with Ross pistons and Eagle crank/rods.

My experience is that powder coat chips too easily when wheel weights and trim rings are attached. Paint is much more forgiving.
