Thanks for the new information. Here are two more videos of my '78 with the 406. It runs two separate mufflers even in the video with the x-pipe.

Second is the same car with only the x-pipe changed to an H-pipe. I taped this yesterday. The cam is the BOO HISS XE274H-10 flat tappet from Comp cam. I hear the lope in the second video a lot more than the first.
