You could likely do it on the cheap with a pair of good used springs, as long as they’re the same diameter...

Along with the 2800 cam it’ll be a nice powerful 87 octane friendly daily driver.

Sounds like the ball studs are junk and won’t be reused.

All of these are factors that will affect the octane tolerance of your engine.
