My 65 389 has no timing tab, just a pointer...

My 65 389 has no timing tab, just a pointer stickin out from the block. How the hell do I time this thing? I think there is a small slit/mark on the dampener.

Since someone cut my tranny lines previously to install a new radiator, does that mean that the original radiator had the inlet and outlet lines on the same side, versus the radiator on the car now...

Are the stock t400 cooler lines supposed to be steel all the way to the radiator on a 67 gto. Mine are steel until about 1 foot from the cooler then they go to rubber with 3 hose clamps on each side...

I run Havoline 10w30. The oil has about 1000 miles on it. I have noticed oil blowing out of the breather on the valve cover on the same side...could that be related?

I bypassed my heater core on my 67 goat temporarily while I waited for my new core to come in and did not notice any temp increase without it...And I live in Texas and drove it in 5 o'clock traffic...

my 67 gto with a 389 has been running great since I bought it 5 mo ago, but today it bogged down bad under WOT about 3 sec after launch from stoplight...Got back to office and clear fuel filter...
