Hello, I was wondering if there is any possible way to tell from the VIN if a T/A was ever a MACHO that someone had taken all the good stuff off of. I found a suspect that used to have a Turbo 301...

Take the line off at the booster and plug it then try to stop,the brakes wiil probably feel harder but if it doesnt stall after that then you found it.Youu may even notice a change in the idle speed...

I would go with the dual diaphram as they were originaly designed for low vacuum applications. I use a 7" dual on my '47 with only 7lbs of vacuum and have absolutly no complaints....
